TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions are for use in relation to our website and any enquiries or purchases you make and will not effect your statutory rights. 

COMPANY

The 'London Tile Shop' brand sells wall tiles, floor tiles, ancillary products and bathroom products . The Company Registration number for England and Wales is 09546063. London Tile shop can be contacted by phone on: 020 3603 1191 or by email on: contact@londontileshop.co.uk

ORDERS

When an order is placed, your payment details will be checked by our screening service, it is designed to protect the customer from fraudulent activities. All orders placed will be fulfilled solely at our discretion. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the amount of product ordered is sufficient to complete the job, we recommend that customers purchase extra tiles to cover wastage. When an order is placed, the company will do everything in its power to fulfil the order, however this is dependent on the circumstance. 

Amendments to any order should be made by phone (02036031191) and we will do everything possible to make these alterations. Unfortunately if an order is despatched by our transport company it will not be possible to amend orders and further payments will be required.

London Tiles Shop does not control any delivery charges. All delivery charges are credited at cost from the agreed delivery price with our transport company.

FAULTY GOODS

If you wish to return the goods to us because they are damaged or faulty, you should notify us within 24 hours of receiving your goods via phone: 02036031191 or email: contact@londontileshop.co.uk attaching all relevant information and photos of damaged items, you must also notify the driver if any of your goods looked damaged. We will then collect the goods and provide you with a refund or replace the damaged/faulty items. We will not accept returns without the relevant information. Please also note that on some occasions boxes may be torn or samaged, but if the tiles are not damaged and can be used it will not be considered as a faulty. 

 
SAMPLE ORDERING

Samples ordered are limited to 5 tiles per person. Please remember shades and calibration of tiles differ from batch to batch, before fixing, ensure you are entirely happy with the product as any claims once the product has been fixed will not be considered. 

We do not send out full size samples, we only send small square cut samples of any tile.

You can order up to 5 samples in any one transaction on the website. London Tile Shop reserves the right to cancel multiple sample orders from the same customer, which may be identified by name, address or payment method used.

QUANTITY OF ORDER

Our tiles are pre-packaged in boxes, containing varied quantities of tiles depending on the range. We sell tiles per square meter. This means that boxes may be split to meet the exact m2 the customer needs. As an approximate guideline there are usually either 1 square metre per box or just over. 

DELIVERY

Our central warehouse is based just outside Birmingham, West Midlands so we are centrally located in the UK to offer a quick and efficient delivery service.

Our deliveries are strictly 'kerb-side' delivery only, the majority of our deliveries will be palletised and pallet trucks cannot be taken across any uneven surfaces, for example cobbled roads, gravel or grass. The driver will not break down any pallets and hand ball your goods off the truck and they are not insured to enter your property.

As we use a third party transport company any restrictions for delivering your goods must be notified to us when placing your order, for example if you live down a narrow road a large truck may not fit down your road or may get stuck.

Be prepared: When receiving your delivery some tile and bathroom products can be heavy and bulky so you may need to get assistance with lifting the goods.

STANDARD DELIVERY 

For stocked products standard delivery usually takes between 2 and 4 working days and between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm - Saturday deliveries can be made on request but will usually incur an additional cost.

For any products that are special order i.e ordered direct from the manufacturers, delivery times may take longer – the length of time is dependent on the supplier and shipping. Instructions will be given upon placement of the order.

 

BREAKAGES AND SHORTAGES

It is the customer's responsibility to check for breakages and shortages and all faults must be reported when signing for the delivery and/or within 24 hours of signing for your goods. We always advise customers to have the goods in their possession before arranging for the installation to commence - no claims can be made if your delivery takes longer than anticipated and your installation work has already commenced.

SHADING & COLOUR

Because of the manufacturing process products may vary in shade, tolerance and calibration, especially prevalent in natural products. The variations in colours and textures are not a defect, but a characteristic for a number of products. Please be aware that, when reordering, shades and sizing can vary from batch to batch. A typical batch turnaround is variable. It is advised to order enough to cover your project accordingly. We will do our best to ensure you get the same batch of tiles when re-ordering, yet this may not always be possible. Please check all goods carefully prior to fitting as we are unable to accept any claims after the tiles have been installed.

CUSTOMER INFORMATION

To enable us to help track orders and deliveries please provide as much information as possible including contact details and a mobile phone number. Also, if your property has limited or difficult access, let us know at time of order.

RETURNS

Returns can be made within 14 days of purchase, provided they are undamaged and in original packaging and accompanied with your origianl receipt.

A full refund will be issued to your original method of payment or the goods can be exchanged for a replacement of your choice once the returned goods are back in our possession and inspected. We can arrange a collection for the goods to be returned using our transport company or you can arrange the return yourself, however any costs we incur will be passed to you before hand.

Only full boxes of the same tiles will be refunded. You should fill the Return Note (available upon request) and send it to contact@londontileshop.co.uk by attaching your proof of payment and pictures of the tiles with their boxes.

Refunds are discretionary, London Tile Shop will only accept goods returned in their original, unopened packaging, accompanied by the original invoice/receipt, within 28 days of the purchase date and returned at the purchasers’ expense.

Any free gifts or Products comprising of an offer must also be returned.

CANCELLATIONS

Our customers have the right to cancel the placed order. If the goods have already been despatched from our warehouse then the delivery cost will stand and will have to be paid.

 

PICKUP

Same and Next Day Pickup are available for most tiles, ancillary products and some bathroom items directly from our warehouse. Orders must be paid in full prior to being picked, and all necessary arrangements need to be made in advance for us to pick your order. A 2 hour window will be agreed upon in advance for time of pickup, and we will require 24 hours notice for any change in pickup window. The buyer is responsible for the safety and transport of product from start time of the agreed upon pickup window. Orders will be placed on a pallet if necessary or individual items will be packaged.
